Sacha Khan
Sacha is a career banker for over 20 years, specifically with Foreign Government Banking in the US and overseas.
Currently he is the Vice President and Regional Relationship Manager under Citi Corporate and Investment Banking since 2006. He handles over 50 countries, including their Embassies, Consulates, Permanent Missions to the United Nations and other Governmental Agencies in the US. Other responsibilities include handling Foreign Government Departments such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense and supporting various United Nations projects.
Prior to Citi, Sacha worked for HSBC Bank NA where he helped set up their Foreign Government Banking Division, he was responsible for transitioning the bank in the US to handle Foreign Governments and operationally guide the bank through establishing the division.
He also worked for Riggs Bank NA, for many years and managed their the Asia/Pacific Embassy Banking Division, which included Corporate and Consumer Banking for 28 countries that had representation in the US. Sacha and his team successfully managed this department until the bank’s closure in 2005.
Sacha started his banking career at Nationwide Building Society located in the UK where he grew up and later moved to the US.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Business Technology and Communications from the University of Hertfordshire & Barnet College, United Kingdom.
